September 26, 2008 Huge progress is being made. The drywall in the lounge is done and painted. We are getting close. Things are looking great and we always have plenty to do for anyone who wants to show up. Work starts @ 8:00 and EVERYONE is welcome.The more help we get the faster we get done. Andy Rutledge
July 2008 The Renovations of our grand lodge are continuing. Every Sunday, we will need many bodies to help with rebuilding our downstairs lounge. To save as much as we can and bring us together as a Lodge we will be doing most of the repairs with member driven volunteer labor but we will have to contract out some of the specialty items and could really use your donations. No help will be turned down. This is a MEMBER PROJECT and is something to be done with pride. The Findlay Elks are also requesting your monetary support if you are unable to help in person. This is just as IMPORTANT as physically helping (maybe even more so). All checks can be sent to the Elks or left at the bar made out to the "Findlay Elks Home Association". To our professional contractor members: We need your expertise: can volunteer your time? We need your connections: do you know someone who can help?
